It all started over 20 years ago in Amagansett, located on the very tip of Long Island. John Heilmann and Tim Disalvo started Home Nature with $2,000 and a beautiful, but certainly challenging dream.
The duo wanted to create a better quality of life and in addition, contribute to a great mission with the planet.
As they explain:
“We love honest design, natural materials, fair pricing and treating the earth with respect and care. With our own designs and productions, sprinklings of vintage finds, and great accessories, you will find a treasure trove for any casually stylish modern home.”

Now, for all New Yorker’s luck and delight John and Tim opened a few months back, their 2rd store. It’s located in the heart of the Flatiron District.
In addition, the latest store just opened right across Agawam Park, also in Southampton, but the first one dates back to 1997.
The stores are simply gorgeous, a real buying experience and you will probably want to purchase everything you see. This is exactly the way we feel when we’re in there.
You’ll find products with unique designs, made out of beautiful natural materials. The store carries heavy furniture, but also smaller items like lamps, candles, rugs, throws, trays, cutlery, etc.
Plus, they have an amazing vintage line with cabinets, chairs, nightstands, table sets, lamps and so much more!

Lastly, you can check out their first store when you’re at Southampton, or close by the region. It’s a great option if you have a house in Long Island and need additional furnishing or décor!
